A dowsing tool is simply a read-out, interface, or communication device. It’s being said that it is either being controlled by your subconscious, or in a more scientific way, by magnetic fields; as all objects have magnetic fields as a result of their elementary particles spinning.
Dowsing tools are being used in an attempt to find water, oil, gold, ores, lost objects. They are also used for energy healing, paranormal activities and Yes/No questions.
There are several types of tools used for dowsing. L-Rods, V-Rods, Pendulums and bobbers. L-Rods and pendulums are the most common tools people use for dowsing. They are easy to use and seem to require less skills compared to other types of tools available.
L-Rods are usually made of copper. Copper is non-ferrous and one of the most conductive materials available which makes it perfect for dowsing. Pendulums are usually made of metals like copper or natural crystals.
The short answer is yes and no! There isn’t a definitive answer to this question.
Some people require scientific proofs to be able to accept something. There are other people that believe the science itself still has a long way to go and there are a lot of things we still don’t know.
Most of my customers I’ve been in contact with, have had success with our product but every now and then we also have someone who can’t get any results. My own perspective is, if you think something works for you, then it works. If you don’t want it to work then it simply doesn’t.

Beautifully crafted dowsing copper rods. After receiving these in the mail (super fast mailing - thank you), I started working with them that evening. The tension of the rods as they moved to criss-cross, go straight or point to one side was pretty astounding. Copper is not considered magnetic much at all and yet I could almost see an inch of magnetic tension between the two rods. As luck would have it, I was attending a Paranormal Investigation at an historic hotel in Amador County. Upon arriving at the hotel, I used the rods in my hotel room and quickly determined that there was a little boy spirit in the room. I invited him to come along with us, to play, while our group investigated the hotel until the wee hours of the night. We captured more than one EVP with a little boy's voice! My friend and I stayed at the 17Hundred90 Inn in Savannah, GA which is reportedly haunted. We booked room 204 - where the ghost of Anna is said to reside and is which is supposedly the most paranormally active room at the Inn. There was a lot of electromagnetic energy there and the rods were instrumental in not only detecting it, but also in aiding in our communication with the spirit of Anna. We went in skeptical, not expecting to experience anything paranormal, but we came out full believers! These dowsing rods are truly amazing. Check out my attached video.

Nice quality copper dowsing rods and pendulum. I am well-versed at pendulum dowsing and I’m trying dowsing rods for the first time. The rods were not responsive to me at first, then I remembered the tools that work with our energy field sometimes like to be “cleansed”. There several ways to do this, I chose to put them in the freezer for five minutes. Once they came out they were quite responsive! Be aware of how you hold them, i have large hands so I had to be careful that the bottom of my hand didn’t interfere with the movement of the rods. You can see in the photo that the bottom of the rod has a cap on the end, much like a knitting needle-if your hand is touching that it inhibits free movement.

Was skeptical. Took rods out to me claim and sure enougg had a hit in the water, thought its because of the water but did some bolder rolling and found a glob of mercury. Anyone who knows anything about gold prospecting knows mercury grabs up gold. So carefully I retrieved the murc, processed and sure enough found gold
